So you showed up.

Again. And again.
Even when you were exhausted.
Even when you weren’t asked.
Even when it meant betraying your own needs.

You call it love.
Or duty.
Or “just being a good friend / parent / partner / leader.”

But underneath the service, something else starts to ache.

The silence.
The resentment.
The loneliness of being the strong one.
