I agree that pausing connects us to ourselves and our emotions and is healing ❤️‍🩹

Laurie, I just want to hug you, kiss you. 😘 You nail again on this daily mindfulness that I started practicing a year ago. I am the proof of this good habit to bring myself to present moment and I practice daily. This practice brings me emotional stability. Whenever there is up or down of emotions, I get into that 5 minute mindful moment, it stabilizes me after that 5 minutes. Love your article and love you 💕. Did I say it again? You are an angel 😇

"We don’t break habits by fighting them.

We break them by returning to awareness."

The power of mindful living. I have found that simple habits break chains of procrastination, anxiety and self pity.

These are the three self destructive patterns that keep us stuck. Your piece was empowering, Laurie. Thank you.

Thank you. I tend to rush on to the next task, not fully appreciating the moments. I feel compelled to "keep busy," as if there is some sort of award at the end of the day, week, life. I needed this reminder to sit, open minded and open hearted.

Our culture demands it and it can feel like you are drowning until you realize you can stand up and walk out of the chaos. I so get it!
